Two offers. One on a jacket, one on boots. Nothing about them overlaps, and both show as active in your admin.
Tiered Discounts. Every other type runs beside the rest without complaint — including beside each other.
Put as many of these live as you like, on any products.
While it is live, one product discount applies to the whole order.
Even on products your other offers never touch.
It is not a fault in the offer. It is what a tier becomes once Shopify has it.
You write one offer: buy 2 get 20% off, buy 3 get 30% off.
Shopify has no idea of tiers, so it stores that as two separate discounts — one for 20%, one for 30%.
If those two were allowed to combine with others, they would also combine with each other — someone buying 3 would take 20% and 30% at once.
Shopify offers one switch, not two. There is no way to say “combine with other offers, but not with me”.
So the safe setting is chosen: the offer combines with nothing. That protects your margin — and it is why the others go quiet.

Measured on a live store on 29 August 2026, not assumed. Two Mix & Match offers on unrelated products both applied, three runs out of three. Two Tiered offers in the same carts produced one discount, three runs out of three — while each one worked perfectly on its own.
